Greetings Guildies!

I hope everyone is doing well. This month is the Orlando Fringe Festival, so try to catch the shows with puppets if you can! If you are doing a show please let us know when and where to catch it! The Kid Fringe will be held in front of the Firehouse Museum this year, which you can get to by going inside of the Shakespeare Theater and walking straight ahead and out the back door. Our Guild will have a tent set up there with a coloring station. (You may have seen this at the World Puppetry Day event). There will be new color sheets, so far I have sheets for Davey Rocker's Barnyard Jam, Ibex Puppetry, Godrick, and Good Knight Theatre. If you are performing in the Kids Fringe and would like a color sheet at the Guild table, please email a .pdf of your sheet to me, there is no printing costs to you and you are not required to be present at the table. Please, only if you will be performing at Kids Fringe! Any of our puppet community who will be around Fringe at all please stop by the booth for a free bottle of cold water. We will only be set up the May 20th & the 21st, 10Am to 2PM.

The next official meeting will be Tuesday, June 13th at 7PM. This will be our stage building workshop I keep putting off! If you have a stage you want to bring in and show us, please do! Just let me know! Try to arrive a little early, maybe 6:15PM if this is the case, so we can have them all set up before everyone else arrives. We will each be designing our own stage and building a small foam core model. This workshop is Free for everyone. You may bring a snack or beverage to share with the group if you like.
