Greetings Guildies!

For those of you that missed the meeting last night I want to give you an update. Our next slam will be November 2nd at the Sourglass Brewery.

The Brewery will also be organizing a Jim Henson themed art show which also opens November 2nd, and runs through the 1st Saturday in December. See photos of Area behind counter for display of Art (guests can’t touch). These items can be for sale, 25% commission. There will also be areas around the main room where artists can set up their own tables and sell their items for no commission on the day of the event. Jamie Donmoyer will be directing this slam. The same rules will still apply, your piece must be pre-screened by Jamie and/or a Guild officer before you can perform. It also, needs to stay in the 10 minute range. Slams are not the place for 30 minute shows! There is also a video screen so bring on the video submissions as well! Jamie also mentioned some strolling acts to walk around the room would be nice as. On another note, there is a fringe show with puppets playing at the Center this weekend 5/26 at 6pm. Peter Efeldonna has offered to buy 7 more peoples tickets to go see it with him. Puppets7@gmail.com please, email him directly if you would like to go, dont reply to this message. Though remember you may still need to purchase your fringe button to enter the show.
